Nha Trang is Vietnam’s beach-resort capital: a long crescent of sand backed by a busy promenade, island-hopping day trips and cheap, excellent seafood. It’s the easy sun-and-sea half of a Vietnam trip. A little planning goes a long way. Getting there
Cam Ranh International (CXR) sits about 45 minutes south of the city and takes direct regional flights, with quick, cheap transfers into town. Resist the urge to over-schedule. The best memories of Nha Trang are usually the unplanned ones, so leave gaps for a long lunch, a wrong turn, or an afternoon that happily runs late.
